Write a paper of at least 2 pages.  This paper is based on A TRIP TO THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART (main museum or Cloisters).  Spend at least two hours in the museum and choose one work of art.  The paper will examine 1) a brief history of the work and how it characterizes the period in which it was created, 2) for what (if any) purpose it was created, and 3) your reaction to the piece, including it's setting in the museum. I chose: BRONZE STATUE OF ARTEMIS AND A DEER. MET MESEUM OF THE ART IN MANHATTAN NY.
