Visit the website www.federalregister.gov and select a “proposed rule” or recent “final rule” that has an impact on environmental health and safety.

Assume the role of Engineering Manager and develop a strategic plan for incorporating this “rule” as part of your organizational process. (If you aren’t currently working, select an industry and present based on the impact the change will have on that industry. This may require a bit of research to understand the impact on that industry.) Be sure to consider all stakeholders (employees, shareholders, community members, etc.). If training is needed, how will this be provided and to whom? Include a timeline for each element that is part of your strategic plan.

Develop a PowerPoint presentation for a meeting with your organization’s executives that explains the “rule”, how it impacts your organization, what you are proposing to meet these requirements, and the timeline for accomplishing this task.
