bashoor3LGBTQ+ Appreciation/Advocacy Letter: If you could write a letter to a business, local/school newspaper, politician, local leader, organization or group regarding LGBTQ+ issues, to whom would you write? Would you write the letter in praise of their stance and policies regarding LGBTQ issues or, conversely, would you write to raise awareness and advocate? This assignment will provide you the opportunity to write a 1-2 page, typed and professional letter to one of the above mentioned and take your stand! There are many templates for professional letters and I will accept any that are recognized PROFFESSIONAL styles.
- You will turn in your 1st draft in class (HARDCOPIES ONLY! YOU NEED ONE TO DO THE IN-CLASS ASSIGNMENT), which will then be given to a class member for revision comments (done in class). There will be a deduction in points if you do not participate in this by bringing your draft to clas
- You will then take your HARDCOPY letter, with revision comments, home to refine and rewrite
- You will turn in the final letter the following week. Remember to write this as a professional business letter and to follow proper formatting.
Rough draft is needed by 10 hrs the whole essay need to be done before next week on wednesday
