In a nutshell, hypothesis testing is a way to prove a point with statistics. Often when we read something like, "Statistically, children under 18 drink more milk per capita than adults do," we are reading the results of a hypothesis test! Ethically, this brings some things in to consideration. There are ways that dishonest researchers can lie and use statistics to prove THEIR point rather than support the truth. Write a one (1) page brief about how unscrupulous statisticians could manipulate their studies to support their argument. Brief is gauged on how many potential areas of bias that you bring up, as well as the overall thoughtfulness of your assessment.
