Assignment 2: Determining an Organization's Cloud Needs

There are many cloud computing vendors available today. It can be a difficult process for a company to select the most suitable vendor.

In this assignment, you will choose an organization and determine its cloud computing needs. You will choose three vendors that meet the organization's cloud computing needs. You will analyze the advantages and disadvantages of working with the three vendors and recommend one of the vendors to fulfill the cloud computing needs of the organization.

Tasks:

• Select an organization with which you are familiar (for example, a past or a present place of employment).
• Create a 4- to 6-page document answering the following:
• Determine the cloud computing needs of the organization.
• Identify three vendors that could address the cloud computing needs of the organization.
• Explain at least three advantages and disadvantages of each one of the three vendors as they relate to the management of and migration to cloud computing for your identified organization. (For example, you can discuss these vendors on areas such as reputation, cost, and flexibility.)
• Recommend one of these vendors. Justify your reasoning.

Note: Utilize at least three scholarly or professional sources (beyond your textbook) in your document. Your document should be written in a clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in accurate representation and attribution of sources (i.e., in APA format); and display accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
