This discussion will help you to analyze the information that can be taken from various types of devices.
Tasks:
Read the "Switches, Routers, and Firewalls" chapter in your course textbook. The chapter focuses on switches, routers, and firewalls. Using one of these devices, discuss the information that can be taken from the device by an investigator. In addition, discuss the process of obtaining this information. Finally, discuss the pros and cons of your chosen device.
Note: Your response should rely upon at least two sources from professional literature—articles from peer-reviewed journals and relevant textbooks. Write in a clear, concise, and organized manner; demonstrate ethical scholarship in the accurate representation and attribution of sources (APA); and use accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
