What strategies can you put in place to help you begin to strengthen your own mastery of the Rights/Responsibilities lens?  How can you help the organizations in which you work, whether paid or volunteer, ask the core questions to help them make better ethical decisions?

Read an op-ed piece in your local paper or national paper and find examples of utilitarian thinking.  In what ways did the author  appeal to the "greatest good for the greatest number" as  a justification for the policy direction?  How did the advocated policy balance the goals of those in power against those who do not have as much opportunity to reach their goals?
