1. Introduction

   • Opening Hook: Your video should begin with an attention grabber. This can be a

     short story, joke, facts, etc. The purpose is to get the audience to listen. The hook

     should be relevant to the rest of the speech.

   • Basic Facts: Here is where you’ll tell the audience your name and give quick basic

     facts about yourself. You may choose to include information such as where you are

     from, your job, family, hobbies/talents, etc.

2. Body

   • Three Character Shaping Points: This is where you’re going to let the audience learn some more specific and detailed information about who you are. You will discuss three things from your life that have made you who you are today. These can be specific events, philosophies, relationships, etc. You are to tell the audience what these three things are and why / how they have shaped your character.

   • Career Aspirations: What do you want to do in your career? Discuss in detail what your personal goals and aspirations are for your professional career.

3. Conclusion

   • Indication and Summary: You should signify the conclusion of your speech and then

     quickly sum up what you have just delivered.

   • Last Impression: You should leave the audience with a final image, thought, quote,

     joke, short story, etc. that is memorable and reinforces the content of your speech.
