Minimum wage is a hot topic in politics today. Many politicians are advocating a raise in the wage from $7.25 an hour, the current wage, to $15. They argue that $7.25 is not a high enough wage to support a family. Opponents believe raising the wage would have dire consequences on the labor markets and especially the teenage labor market.

If you were advising a politician on his/her platform would you encourage or discourage them from supporting an increase to $15. Why? Explain your decision using information and terminology that has been covered in Unit One. Your answer to the question must be a minimum of 5 complete sentences. (Support your answer)
