In the Week 2 discussion forum, you will have an opportunity to discuss the importance of developing a data plan for an organization.  The proliferation of data in an organization has led to the need to develop a systematic approach to the collection, storage, and access to data that can be transformed to useful information.  You will also have the opportunity to discuss some of the foundational aspects of database design and how those design options assist organizations in reporting and decision making opportunities.
