n this Assignment you will engage in your own independent research and write an analytical essay about a well-known controversial end-of-life case study of your choosing. Prior to writing this Assignment, please take some time to examine the various cases that have been documented so that you have a good understanding about their similarities and differences.

After you have read the contents for Unit 6 and engaged in your own independent research, please address the following in a brief essay:

1. Summarize the controversial case that you have chosen.
2. Analyze the case you have chosen from two opposing perspectives.
3. Finally, conclude your paper with a brief comment about how these perspectives might find some common ground. (If you feel that there cannot be any type of compromise between these two viewpoints, please explain why.)
