In our work lives, most of us have participated in team-building exercises. These exercises have ranged from ice breakers to team survival exercises. Examine the illustrations in Week 4 which address Teamwork Examples and Fundamentals of an Effective Team. Then, search the literature in the South University Online Library for illustrations of team-building exercises and activities.

Once you have examined the teamwork examples and the fundamentals of effective teams and have some knowledge of successful team-building exercises, you will be ready to develop team-building exercises for your team at work.

Look at your work team.

1. Find both a process and a task-related problem associated with your team at work.
2. Develop original team-building exercises which will help to solve these two problems.
3. Evaluate and describe what may make the implementation of these exercises both easy and difficult to execute at your workplace.
