1) What was Nationalism? How did it propel European imperial powers
down a road of dominance in Africa, Asia and the Americas?
2) The point of focus is the notion of "honor" in Europe during the 17th
& 18th centuries. I would like you to expand the idea of “Honor” in
the Industrial era and include the periods 1700-1914. How was honor
upheld or ignored by Europeans in their Imperial expansion into the
Americas, Africa and Asia?
3) Examine the influence of trade and transportation in the expansion of
industrialization. How does the world become smaller with the speed
of communication and commerce?
