Nail World, Inc

Nail World, Inc. contracted to ship 1,000 boxes of nails to Paulette at $1.32 per box. Later, Nail World, Inc. telephoned Paulette to request that the price be changed to $1.43 per box, and Paulette agreed. Paulette’s obligations remained exactly the same as before. When Nail World, Inc. shipped the 1,000 boxes to Paulette, Paulette refused to pay more than $1.32 per box, claiming that there was no consideration for the contract modification.
