Melissa Cagno 

Hello everyone! My name is Melissa Patterson but, I am still listed as Melissa Cagno until I finish getting my name updated. I just got married last year to my husband Rick, we have a son named Nathan, 2 dogs (Sally and Cynder) and 4 cats (Midnight, Meridian, Shadow and Mortimor). I am originally from Nokomis, FL but we currently live in Pittsburgh, PA. I currently work with Ciox Health as a Medical Record Field Technician, collecting medical records from various sites. Through this class I would like to learn more about how to put together a lesson plan and learn how to put it in to action in the classroom. When I finish my bachelors degree I would like to become a teacher in grades K-3 and possibly return for my Master's degree in Education! I look forward to meeting and working with you all!!

Hello my name is Theresa Johnson I live in Dallas, Texas, yes the home of those mighty Dallas Cowboys. I have two grown children Kendra and Jason, and a dog name brownie who is a cock a poo mix.  work at Comstock middle school for the past twenty years, I have been a Attendance Clerk, a Teacher Assistant,  now I'm back as a teacher assistant in the special education department FLS( functioning living skills) In this class I plan on in hope to learn more about the Common Core Standard exactly what it means. i would like to know how to do lesson plans and a how to implented it in the classwork. I'm working on my Bachelors Degree in Education  where i will teach grades 4-8 I can't wait.

Hello Class,

My name is Ronnie Taylor Jr. I am a husband of a beautiful wife and 3 children ages 13, 10, and 9. I live in Orange County, California which is in the southern part of the state. I currently work as behavior specialist for special education and I work for the department of education but I am at a school site within the county programs. My job position is to deal with moderate to severe behaviors of children, teens and adults that have different needs and disabilities. I am also to help the teacher perform skill work and assessments for individual students. I hope to gain knowledge and understanding within this course that is going to help me to learn how to create and understand curriculum and instruction. I plan to learn the steps and requirements of how to successfully design a curriculum plan. I plan to one day help to run a community center or a child development center I enjoy being around people and children and like the atmosphere of activities, fun, and learning all in the same place and hope to be in charge of one or create one of my own one day.
