Module 05 Course Project - Budget and Financial Summary
Prepare a financial summary for the first two years of your business. For this assignment you are submitting a zip file. For more information on zip files please see the Technical Information page located on the Resources Tab.
- Include an income statement that outlines the gross sales, net sales, and cost of goods sold, as well as the main 10 categories of expenses your business will need to absorb.
- In addition, prepare a simple budget for your business that lists the main cash flow (in and out) for the first two years of your business.
- Summarize where the funding for your business will come from (bank loan, SBA, personal savings, investors).
- Your final assignment should include an Excel spreadsheet with the income statement and cash flow/budget statement. It should also include a one-page summary of introduction to how your business is funded, how your business views it financials, etc.
