An organization's ability to adapt has a significant impact on its ability to successfully institute change. Companies can be reactive, sluggish, "satisficing," or renewing/transformational. Often there are clues to the company's orientation in the ways they are managed and make decisions.

For your initial post in this module's discussion, locate and summarize an article about a company's adaptive orientation to institute change. Be sure to indicate what you think adaptive orientation means. The Online Library is accessible through the Resources tab and is an excellent source of scholarly articles. Be sure to cite your article source.
