Module 01 Discussion - History of Business Intelligence

The Gartner Group coined the term BI in the 1990s. However, is the concept much older than the term? Think about what you've learned in this module and decide for yourself. Then answer the following question: Is business intelligence a new concept? Explain why or why not.
