1.       Because of global aspect of business and cost factors, offshore outsourcing of IT is getting more prevalent.  There are a lot of discussions about the impact of this…both positive and negative. 

Your company is considering outsourcing their IT development projects to India.  If they do so they will be able to get the projects developed for much less…yet they will have to lay off the 20 IT employees who work in IT development. 

Your boss is conflicted regarding the business decision versus the ethical considerations. 

a). Your boss has asked you to objectively discuss arguments for and against offshore outsourcing.

b). He then wants you to make a recommendation and defend your position.  He wants hard evidence.
