Mission Statements, Goals, and Objectives

Project: Choose one of the following programs:

1. A community-wide smoking cessation program to reduce the number of teenage smokers
   OR
2. A worksite health & wellness program in stress management

As a member of the planning committee for one of the above programs, you are asked to help develop the mission statement, goals of the program, and the objectives of the program.

1. Write a mission statement reflecting the philosophy of your program.
2. Explain to the committee your rationale for your mission statement.
3. Write 2-3 goals for the program; include how these goals reflect the needs assessment; Explain to the committee why you chose these goals.
4. Using each of the eight levels of objectives, write a specific objective for each.
5. Provide references in which you based you mission statements, goals, and objectives.

Complete this assignment as a Word document.  The paper should be approximately two pages in length, double-spaced using 12-point Times New Roman font, using references to support your response.
