Companies should choose the rightful act to implement that the greater good will be more prominent to follow. The ethics shine through in the toughest moments. Companies should look out for the public interest, instead of hiding or covering up a mistake, or a risk investment that wasn't successful. Some leadership tends to dwell on past mistakes and how certain strategies could have been implemented differently. Also, if the employee is not an ethical person, the culture of the company will not be conducive for ethics regardless of the situation the outcome is usually the same. Which makes me wonder... do employees' actions always reflect the ethics of the company?
