 MGMT 3400: Entrepreneurship (81805, Fall 2016)

I hope you can send my order before due date.

Can you do this homework of career plan? I have one project of irrigation with my team.

For your personalized entrepreneurial career plan (25 points), I want you to write up ONE PAGE addressing the following three questions and email it to me as an attachment. Due date is 11:59pm next Sunday, September 11. Your personalized entrepreneurial PROFILE (25 points) will consist of edits I suggest that you make to your LinkedIn profile, and these edits will be due by the end of the semester.

1.       Review your answers to the “Adaptive Cognition” test I passed out in class last Tuesday, and tell me actions you will take regularly in the future to address the five questions where you scored the lowest.

2.       Review my slides, the podcast of the lecture (available as a link from the syllabus as of next week), and/or your own notes regarding Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy, and tell me actions you will take regularly in the future to seek out role models and build personal and professional support networks.

3.       Review my slides, the podcast of the lecture, and/or your own notes regarding Effectuation and explain to me:

a.       Your dollar amounts for affordable loss, including:

                                                               i.      Foregone earnings. Tell me how much you could earn as a full time salary if you “worked for the man,” how much you could earn if you worked part-time for 10 hours/week or less, and the difference between the two numbers. Make sure to tell me WHAT your full-time job would be and WHAT your part-time job would be.

ii.      Savings/loans/friend & family investment/grant money. Tell me how much money you think you could cobble together from each of these sources. Make sure to tell me WHY you believe these dollar amounts are realistic.

b.      Your level of acceptable risk, expressed in terms of:

                                                               i.      Foregone career advancement. Tell me how long you can afford to pursue an entrepreneurial venture before you have to “get a real job.” This is not about the MONEY, as described above, but rather about WHAT YOU’RE MISSING OUT ON by continuing to work part-time and pursue your venture.

ii.      Recovery plan. Tell me how you will continue to build/polish your LinkedIn profile (i.e., your resume) while you’re pursuing your venture and what kind of job will you target applying for when/if you put the venture aside and “get a real job.”
