1.Start with the Swing Mount Assembly and the 3D parts that I provide
2.Modify the parts so that they fit the dimensions I assign to you. (No modifications are needed for the Pin-Flathead)
3.Open and re-save your Swing Mount Assembly
4.Create fully dimensions drawings for the Washer, Swing Arm, Wall Bracket
For the Washer, include a top and side ortho view, plus an isometric view
For the Wall Bracket, include 3 ortho views, plus a section view through its long centerlines, plus an Isometric view.
For the Swing Arm, include 3 ortho views, plus TWO sections (one through the long centerline and one through the short centerline of thepart), plus an Isometric view.

5.On the drawings, be sure to put ±tolerances on opening (A)of the Bracket, the thickness (B, D) of the Washer, and the boss height (C) of the Swing Arm. You can place a note of standard tolerances for all other dimensions. (Refer to HW08-Tolerancing-Analysis-Sheet.pptx for A/a, B/b, C/c, D/d)
6.Update the Stack-Up Analysis sheet (PowerPoint) provided with YOUR VALUES of A/a, B/b, C/c, D/d. Calculate the Gap we should expect to see in your assembly using Stack-Up Analysis. Calculate the Gap ±tolerance, and the range.
7.Update the Monte Carlo Simulation spreadsheet with your values of nominal and tolerance for the Wall Bracket, Washers, and Pivot Arm. Click F9 to run the simulation a few times before saving it to hand in.
8.Hand in: Swing Mount Assembly (.sldasm), Wall Bracket (.sldprt), Washer (.sldprt), Pivot Arm (.sldprt), Pin-Flathead (.sldprt), Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis Sheet (.pptx), and Monte Carlo Analysis sheet (.xls). DO NOT PUT SPACES IN ANY OF THE FILE NAMES!!! You may use "Pack and Go" to send a zip file of the Swing Mount Assembly and its Components.
