Hello, I do have an assignment due the 28th of April.
Its a 5 pages single spaced intreview with a manager

Please organize your report as follows:
- Introduction: Provide a very brief background on the company (e.g., products or services provided, locations, number of employees). Why did you decide to interview a manager at this particular company? Please be sure to research the organization BEFORE your interview, to get the most out of your interview time and to show the manager that you have prepared ahead.
- Discuss the manager’s responses to Questions 1-5 below. DO NOT present the question & response. Rather summarize and discuss what you learned.
- Discuss in detail the manager’s responses to Questions 6-10 below. Be sure to relate their responses to the concepts, theories, and frameworks discussed in the two motivation chapters – this is a critical part of your report. For example, if the manager says that s/he uses incentive rewards such as bonuses to motivate employees, describe how this is a practical application of the Expectancy Theory and the Reinforcement Theory.
- Discuss the manager’s responses to any additional questions asked – from optional questions listed below or that you develop. DO NOT present the question & response. Rather summarize and discuss what you learned.
- Conclusion: At the end of your paper, be sure to summarize the key “take-aways” or “lessons learned” from your interview.
- APPENDIX: List full contact information (including title) for the manager interviewed, attach a Business Card (or photocopy of it) from the manager, andinclude a copy of the Thank You Letter/Email you sent.
REQUIRED QUESTIONS (1-10):
I. Managers, Leaders, and Career Path
- How did you first get into a management position (i.e., promoted from the ranks, new college graduate, utilized a network contact)? Was being a manager something that you knew all along you wanted to become, or was it by chance that you became a manager? What career path have you followed?
- What is a typical day like for you, as a manager? In a typical day, in what areas of management do you tend to spend most of your time? What other duties do you have, beyond managerial ones?
- Do you believe there a difference between managers and leaders? (If so, please explain). Do the roles of manager and leader call for the same or different skills and abilities? What are the most important of those skills and abilities?
- In your judgment, what are the primary qualities or characteristics of good managers?
- What are the most rewarding and the most challenging (or frustrating) parts of your job as a manager?
II. OB Topics: Motivation, Teams, etc.
- Based on your experience and beliefs as a manager, what tends to motivate employees? How do you go about understanding the motivation of your employees?
- What motivational theories or models seem to best apply to the employees of your organization? Why? NOTE: You may need to give the manager examples from the motivation chapter, such as Goal-Setting or Equity Theory.
- How is employee motivation considered in the way activities are carried out in your organization (that is, through employee benefits, training opportunities, promotions, award programs, etc.)? Are the efforts to motivate employees made at the organizational level successful?
- What has been your experience – or that of your organization -- with using work groups or teams?
- In your experience, how does motivating teams differ from motivating individual employees?
