When training managers, is it better to emphasize theory or experience?  Why?  What is the best mix of theory and practice?  And, by the way, how are principles of management developed or expanded?  Some say that a college education produces lots of theoretical stuff but no common sense.  Why might this be a valid criticism? What does it mean?
