A research narrative is a short essay that tells me, step-by-step, how you went about writing your final research paper. This essay can be written informally, as though you and I were having a conversation. The ultimate purpose is to demonstrate that happened during your research process.
You may choose to include information such as:
- Problems you encountered in the research process;
- Difficulty in locating sources;
- Successes;
- Your favorite part of this project;
- Anything else that seems relevant.
The final research narrative will be 2-pages long, formatted according to MLA guidelines.
