Our textbook suggests that, when contemplating career options, we should be cautious about choosing a career solely on the basis of salary. In your own words, describe the reasons the textbook authors give for suggesting this cautious approach to career selection. What would be your own additional personal concerns regarding using salary as the sole factor in your career decisions? How important is salary in your assessment of potential occupations? Why is it that important? HAs its importance changed over time? What other aspects of a job might be equally or more important to you in choosing a career? Why?
Be sure you are demonstrating your knowledge of the readings and using them to inform your response.
