Objective:
To learn to use all features of Microsoft Excel to create charts and graphs on your lemonade stand's profit/loss for the month.
Use the information generated playing the Lemonade Stand to create an income statement using Excel.

Basic Directions:
1. Go to http://www.ae4rv.com/games/lemonade.htmand play the lemonade game on the Internet for the full 30 days (You can do this all in one day) and record all data on the chart provided (Lemonade stand data.doc-download – See Attachment 1). 
2. Utilize the data you recorded to create graphs and charts in Excel. 
3. Create a basic income statement using Excel.

Specific Directions:

1. Type the data in the chart into an Excel spread sheet.

a.       Total the Advertising, Total Expense, Revenue, Cup (product) Expense, and Profit.

b.      Calculate average COST PER CUP and PRICE PER CUP.


2. Create an Income Statement that looks like the following.

a.       Your Name Lemonade Stand

3. Graphs to make:

a.       Grand Total Revenue - Grand Total Profit - Grand Total Expense

b.      Average cost per cup to average selling price per cup
(Bar or column or something along that order)

c.       Total Rainy days to Total Sunny days. 
(Pie graph)

d.      Daily Revenue to Daily Expenses 
(Line graph)

e.       Daily Profit to Daily Expenses 
(Stacked bar or column graph)

f.       Daily Revenue to Daily Advertising
(Line graph)

g.      Daily Profit to Daily Advertising
(Stacked bar or column graph)

h.      Cups made compared to cups sold
(Line graph)

 

i.        Cost per cup to selling price per cup 
(Line graph)
