Leadership and Ethics in Healthcare wk 1

1. In this course, ethics theorists are divided into those who take a global view of ethics and those who take a personal view. Think about your role as an administrator. Will you use any of these theorists in making decisions? Which ones will be the most helpful? Why?
2. As a healthcare professional, you should be aware that employers, fellow professionals and the community expect high levels of personal and professional ethics. What is your working definition of ethics? Why does a healthcare administrator need a foundation in ethics theory to be effective?
