In a 2-3 page APA formatted paper students will write an essay outlining a brief history of the “War on Drugs.” In addition, students should reflect whether it is possible to win the war on drugs to include evidence of its successfulness or failures. Finally students should recommend changes to the prosecution of the current “War on Drugs” or alternatives to it; depending on the student’s approach.

A minimum of two references, one being from an outside, non-GU source, are required.
