Latino culture health issues

Lead-in:

Expanding your knowledge and cultural competence requires you are continually learning about new cultures and ethnic groups.  For your assignment and research this week you should choose a Latino culture that is not a focus of your final paper to research. There are a wide range of Latino cultures to choose from including but not limited to: Mexican, Argentinian, Peruvian, Costa Rican, Cuban, Columbian, Guatemalan, Panamanian, Bolivian, Chilean, Ecuadorian and Spanish to name only a few.

To Prepare for the Assignment:

• Complete the assigned reading
• Locate a peer-reviewed journal article(s) on the topic
• Review the rubric for this assignment

With these thoughts in mind,

Assignment: Research peer-reviewed journal articles on healthcare focusing on a Latino ethnic group. Do not use the same group you selected for your final paper.  Prepare a 2-3 page APA paper (not including title page and references) covering the following: Subject Descriptions, Summary of Findings, Recommendations if possible and Conclusions.
