Write an essay examining the causes and outcomes of the political and economic crisis in Argentina during 1999-2002. What are the causes of the economic and political crisis in Argentina? What were the outcomes?  Are you optimistic about the strength of Argentine democracy in spite of this political and economic crisis? (Note: You must read the chapter from Skidmore, Smith and Green, Schamis’ article on Argentina: Crisis and Democratic Consolidation, and Levitzky and Murillo’s “Argentina Weathers the Storm.”)  It is Attached.
