Last April, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments on whether or not all or part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act should be declared unconstitutional. It specifically addressed the issue of whether or not individual health insurance mandate was unconstitutional under the Interstate Commerce Clause of the Constitution. In addition, it addressed whether or not the individual healthcare part of the law was severable from the rest of the law.
