Week 10 Instructions:

Assignment; Go to the attached files for this week and work the block diagram problem listed as Figure # 1. Figure 2-11 on Page 22 may be helpful again.

Please note that this block diagram could have as many as 20 steps and not just the 1 through 10 listed below the diagram.

Week 11 Instructions:

Assignment; On Page 118 and 120 of your text is a review of the Grand Canyon. The block diagram on Page 119 lists all the geologic rock layer and uses symbols to represent erosional periods, mountain building, and even soil horizons. Using the text, place numbers on a copy of the diagram starting with one as the oldest rock or event. Then label each consecutive event until you reach the soil where the grass grows today. Use a pencil and practice before you submit your labeled diagram. Remember to build a KEY to your diagram (what does each number represent?).
