Documented Essay— Biographical essay due April 19.  This can focus on any famous person, past or present and can represent the field of acting, politics, sports, personal achievement, notoriety, business, etc.( Minimum 2 sources, parenthetical documentation, works cited page).

Instead of covering the entire life and career of the person chosen, try to narrow your focus to a particular time. For instance, if you were choosing a past president, you might look at early life and family influences, or you might choose to study career and achievements, or you might look at personal characteristics and qualities—both strengths and weaknesses. There is a document provided under Assignment Guidelines (also in the Course Materials area) that will give you more direction as well as sample citations.
