This is the next written assignment of the semester. As with all assignments, you must write them in MICROSOFT WORD and upload them as .DOC or .DOCX documents only. Any other file format or word processor is not acceptable. I am always asked how long should the assignment be. This assignment should be as long as it takes to fully address the topic parts.

Spell/grammar check your documents as that counts....however...

Proofread your work to make sure the proper words are used to convey your thoughts. This was discussed in Filak Chapter 3.

The topic of this assignment is INVERTED PYRAMID AND LEADS

There are two parts to this assignment.

1) Below are a series of facts on an accident. Place the facts in descending order of importance and then write an about a page that justifies why you chose the order you did.

Springfield police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at Broadway and Sixth Avenue.

Police said the driver of a white minivan drove through a stop sign without stopping.

Traffic was delayed in all directions for 20 minutes due to the crash.

The driver of the minivan was Jane Morris, a 35-year-old mother of three.

The only passenger in the minivan, John Morris, the 38-year-old husband of Jane Morris, was killed in the crash.

The driver of the vehicle, a red corvette, was Springfield Mayor Bob Commins.

2) Take the facts of the accident and write a lead sentence that is between 25 and 35 words long, contains the majority of the 5W's and 1 H and has value to he citizens of Springfield.
