Read the Case Studies assigned from An Introduction to Business Ethics 4^th Edition by Joseph DesJardins and answer the questions below. Answers must be in the form of complete sentences and justified. (Several sentences are generally required to answer each question; some numbered items include more than one question.) For example, a question such as “Should there be a maximum-wage law?” needs more than a simple “yes” or “no” answer. Explain the reasoning and support your answers to each question; additional references are recommended. Use APA format for citations.

How would you describe the managerial philosophy of Wal-Mart? What principles are involved? What are the overriding aims, values, and goals of Wal-Mart?

Evaluate the management philosophy of Wal-Mart the point of view of stockholders, employees, customers, the local community, and supplies.

Wal-Mart’s wages are above the legally required minimum wage, and health benefits are not legally mandated.  Are there reasons for a business to take action not required by law but which might reduce profits?
