As a Criminal Justice major enrolled in CRJS499, you are required to participate in the programmatic assessment assignment. Please note that this assessment is part of the course requirement. You should follow all of the directions to ensure successful completion of the assessment.

Please use the following link to access the assignment, and be sure to follow all instructions. Please note that once you start the assessment, you must complete it in one sitting; you cannot turn off your computer.

Start the ACAT-N®

• You are not permitted to use word processors, instant messaging programs, text readers, or e-mail clients while taking the test. If you do not close these programs before starting, the ACAT-N® software will force them to close and you will lose any unsaved work.
• Start your Web browser (see above for restrictions) and go to the following site. There is no “www” in the address.
  • http://testme.acatonline.net
• Click on the “Start the ACAT Online” button. You may receive a message telling you that the publisher of the software cannot be confirmed and asking whether or not to run it. Click Run. The program should display the log on screen.
