Read the chapter on environmental ethics in the e-text and select one of the key environmental concerns for humans that were outlined: global warming, ozone depletion, waste disposal and pollution, wilderness preservation, or international environmental conventions.

Respond to the following questions about the concern that you selected:

1. Why is the environmental concern that you selected important to you? Provide a rationale to support your opinion. Did you approach it from an anthropocentric or ecocentric viewpoint and why? What are the intrinsic or instrumental values that you considered?
