Do some brainstorming about possible topics for your research paper. What are some controversies and arguments that are relevant in today’s society? What do people around you argue about? What’s going on in the news these days that interests you? Write to express your opinions and views about at least 3 or 4 issues. These issues can be personal or global; minor or major. This is basically just a safe space for you to rant, rave, or just write out your side of any argument. (And hopefully it will give you some ideas to consider for the research paper!)
