Journal #5 - Product Branding (Chapter 13)
A brand is a name, term, symbol, design, or any combination of these that identifies a seller’s products as distinct from those of other sellers. Brands can be classified as manufacturer brands, store brands, or generic brands.
Questions:
1) Think about the brands of products that you use, to which brand are you the most loyal? Explain the functional benefits of this brand.
2) Beyond the functional benefits, what does this brand mean to you?
3) Under what set of circumstances would you be willing to change to another competing brand?
In this and other journals and papers: Incorporate additional research in your responses, demonstrating that you did some investigating that relates to the journal topic, and/or supports your answers. Even though this is a personal journal, it should also include some additional research as well as reflection. Dr. Jean
