In response to contemporary theories of post-humanism, Sarah Juliet Lauro and Karen Embry have collaborated to produce "Zombie Manifesto." And while this is highly informative in regards to our upcoming Project, it is also loaded with theoretical ideas and terminology that we do not have the time to cover in full. In other words, "Zombie Manifesto" is a complicated text.  

As scholars and academics, it is important that even though we are assigned these complicated texts, we read them critically. Even if we don't understand every single word and reference as they are written, it is important for us to grasp the concepts these writers are presenting. 

For this journal, you will need to read "Zombie Manifesto" at least twice. As you do this, you should be annotating carefully and critically (I will be checking your annotations in class). You will then need to provide a quick summary on the main points presented in each section as well as the whole article. Label these sections accordingly.
