You'll need to submit a resume and an application letter.  The job itself need not be a real one, but ought to be something that would be realistic.  

The resume lists facts of your competencies, and should represent who you are.  This resume can be interesting (even visually appealing), but should provide the reader with an easy-to-read format, so that it will gain attention.

The career application letter sells your personality.  It should, at minimum, highlight several of your strengths in terms of your educational background and any work experience that you have.
