Each listening journal should include your own personal observations, thoughts, revelations, and comments on 8 songs of your choice from the Course Music. Try to deal with the music in an intelligent, enthusiastic, and open-minded way (NOT simply “I like it” or “I don’t like it”).  The journal will consist of at least eight full pages, TYPED and double-spaced. The Journal should include the following: Classic Jazz, Modern Jazz.
