You are at a family reunion and your grandmother brings out the genealogy project she has been working on for several months. As she tells you about various individuals in your family tree, she mentions that her great-great grandfather, her great-grandfather, her grandfather and her father all had issues with drugs and drug abuse. But she has never tried or wanted to try drugs. She asks you why some people use drugs and others do not. Based on this unit’s readings, Discussion Board, and Seminar, explain what you would say to your grandmother about how drug abuse is passed from generation to generation and explain why she was not affected. This should be provided in 300–500 words and submitted to the Journal, titled Unit 1.
