1-Yes we all have our own way of handle such things. Wow that was very quick and a lot of uprooting. I hope your children are adjusting well. I know I would have tried to see if it was at all possible to allow the children to finish out this school year or at least until the winter break. Not sure if you were renting or had a mortgage. While my husband was locating a place I would have continued working while looking for a job there. But like you said you had to do what's right for your family after evaluating your personal values.
