It is better because it is discoverable if someone enter's into the medical record.  There are many hospital workers who have sold the medical or health information to the media when someone has entered that wants privacy.  It doesn't eliminate it, just points to those who have access.  Now what do you do when a hospital worker that has access but shouldn't necessarily look at the case?  Example a CT Tech has a Chest/Abdomen/Pelvis as a patient and the Manager looks to see that the contrast went all the way through.  The tech is there under an assumed name, but the manager looks at it and there is conflict?
