This forum has two questions.
1. Given all you have read and discussed over the past two months, which of theoretical approaches do you find offers the most explanatory power in the study of international relations? Make sure to support your argument with specific examples. If you find that none of the approaches offers the most explanatory power, explain why you believe this to be the case.
2. In what ways, if any, do the articles by Mendelsohn and Cao affect the utility of our state-based approaches to the study of international relations (that is, is the Westphalian model still the most effective model for studying international relations)?
