Involving Outside Agencies

You have been asked by your preschool administrator to investigate governmental, private, and faith-based agencies that have programs supportive of families in which your center might be able to participate.

Conduct an Internet search to identify such agencies in your area. Choose one from each category listed above. Consider how your early childhood preschool program might collaborate with each one.

Create a 10-12-slide PowerPoint presentation, not including title and reference slides, that will convince your administrator that the collaborations you have devised will benefit children, families, and your preschool program. Cite three scholarly sources to support your presentation.

While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text citations and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
