Investigating the "Non-Paid" Claim
From time to time, you will have to investigate a non-paid claim. If the insurance claim has been rejected for payment because the patient was no longer insured on the insurance policy, or the patient has not paid any amount toward a deductible, or the diagnosis codes do not agree with the procedures that were performed, what would you do? What would you do to keep this from happening again?
